About Us

Your hosts, Mary and Andy Doerfler, take great pleasure in welcoming their guests to Bella Vista on
Lake Travis. "Mi casa es su casa" is not just a phrase, it is a mission for Mary and Andy. Their goal is to
make you feel at home, relaxed and comfortable. Andy is a practicing dentist in Spring, Tx and Mary is a
retired Home Economics teacher and full time mom. Caring for others has always been a central focus
for the Doerflers. Now that focus has been carried into the hospitality industry.

There is no better place to unwind than the hill country of Texas. Bella Vista is located, just 4 miles
from downtown Marble Falls, on 35 acres of farm land. Here you have the opportunity to escape the
hectic pace of the city, the noise of the traffic and the chaos of life, if only for the weekend. The sunrise
is so beautiful, you can't help but want to wake-up early, sip your coffee, listen to the morning doves,
and take a few photos of the sun as it greets you. The sun setting over the fields will also warrant photo
opportunities. The "stars at night" are truly "big and bright" when you star gaze in the hill country.

A full and hearty breakfast is a special treat, expertly prepared each morning and served on the patio,
weather permitting, or in the dining room overlooking Lake Travis. Guests can gather for appetizers
and wine while enjoying the evening breeze. Cool nights warrant star gazing or sitting around the
outdoor fire pit. All this is just the beginning of your weekend retreat to Bella Vista on Lake Travis!
